Prior to joining EY, he was a Managing Director at a strategy consulting firm for six years, where he led the Life Sciences M&A Practice. Earlier, he worked as a VP of Strategic Marketing and a BU Lead at an American medical technology company. He also served as the SVP Marketing & Sales for a startup biotechnology company which went public.
Arda started his career with a pharmaceutical company in Istanbul and subsequently relocated to New York, where he held leadership roles in product commercialization and new product development.
He earned a PhD in General Management and Finance and an MBA from Marmara University in Istanbul as well as an MSc and BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Boğaziçi University.

Dr. Daim leads a research group on Technology Evaluations and Research Applications. His group has had more than 20 PhD graduates. He is currently advising more than 15 PhD students. Over 15 visiting scholars from all around the world have joined his group in the last decade. Dr. Daim is recognized worldwide for his research leadership in roadmapping and forecasting technologies. He has published over 200 refereed journal papers, more than 20 special issues and more than 20 books. He made more than 200 conference presentations and gave several keynote lectures. He sits on the board of many academic institutions and industrial organizations.

Prof. Dr. Gülçin Büyüközkan is the Head of Industrial Engineering Department (Faculty of Engineering and Technology) at Galatasaray University. She graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Industrial Engineering in 1993. She completed her Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from ENSGI (Ecole Nationale Superieure de Génie Industriel) in France in 1996 and from Boğaziçi University in 1997. She continued her doctoral thesis studies in the field of Industrial Engineering in INPG (Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble), Grenoble, France, thanks to the overseas doctoral scholarship granted to her by the Council of Higher Education. She completed her doctoral dissertation in 1999 by doing some of her thesis studies in Université Laval, Québec, Canada by benefiting from the Région Rhône Alpes European Union Doctoral Fellowship. She has many national and international articles, papers, and book chapters in the fields of industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain, and digitalization. As the Vice-Chairman of the Logistics Association (LODER), Prof. Büyüközkan provides industrial training on various subjects, such as strategic management, logistics, and supply chain, and strategic consultancy services focused on digital transformation, building innovative systems and system improvement; realizes industrial projects. She is also a member of the TÜSİAD Information and Communication Technologies working group.

During this period, she carried out studies on R&D management and incentives, R&D collaborations, technology management, innovation processes and open innovation. As the Innovation Director at Farplas, she was responsible for strategic planning, innovation and R&D processes. Iyigun Meydanli, who served as a Reporter in the Machinery-Materials panel of the TUBITAK Vision 2023 project, is also among the authors of the ISO - Easy Information Set - Project Management Guide. She worked as a chapter writer in the book “Knowledge Management and Applications”. Iyigun has more than fifteen papers presented at national and international meetings. He is currently the founding president of M2I – “Methods to Innovation” consulting firm.

All authors are advised to be familiar with IEEE guidelines before submitting their manuscript, including the IEEE Policy on Plagiarism and on Double Submission.
